Alpha Drive review: what the label and the research actually show

Alpha Drive is a capsule sold for men's sexual wellness and energy. We read the Supplement Facts panel, compared it with the sales page, and checked each herb against human trials. The label and the marketing tell two different stories.

Our verdict: 2 / 5

Ingredient evidence2Tongkat ali has modest trial support; saw palmetto and wild yam do not help the marketed benefit; the rest is thin
Dosing vs. research1.5One 800 mg total for seven herbs; trial doses of three of them alone would add up to more than that
Label transparency1.5Blend total disclosed, individual doses hidden; three herbs named on the sales page are missing from the label
Value and refund terms3$29 to $49 a bottle; 60-day refund, but the policy pages read like copied templates

Worth considering if you mainly want to try tongkat ali in a low-cost capsule, you are comfortable with an undisclosed dose, and you plan to use the 60-day refund window if nothing changes.

Probably skip it if you are buying it for the tribulus, ginseng or muira puama mentioned on the sales page (the label we checked lists none of them), or if you want to know how much of each herb you are taking.

Before anything else: changes in sexual function, energy or drive after 50 can have medical causes, including blood vessel, heart and hormone conditions. They are worth raising with your doctor, especially if they are new or getting worse.

Came here for Alpha Drive? The highest-rated men's vitality label we checked is ErecPrime, 2.5 out of 5.

What Alpha Drive is

Alpha Drive is a dietary supplement in capsule form. The label calls for two capsules a day with water, and each bottle holds 60 capsules, a 30-day supply. The label names CD Company LTD of Largo, Florida, as distributor. Orders are processed by Digistore24, which appears on your card statement. It is sold through the official website in 1, 3 and 6-bottle packages as a one-time purchase.

The sales page promotes a blend it calls "Endurologix Essence" (and, a few lines later, "Endurologix Enzyme"), and promises more stamina, more drive, higher testosterone and "no side effects." It shows customer quotes and an "expert opinion" from a named sexual health researcher. We could not find that person in the published research, and we do not rely on testimonials.

The label and the sales page do not match

This is the most important finding of our review. The sales page says the formula is a mix of natural boosters "like Tribulus and Ginseng," with "Epimedium and Muira Puama" as further ingredients. The Supplement Facts panel linked from the same site lists seven ingredients inside one 800 mg proprietary blend:

  • Epimedium extract (aerial parts)
  • Eurycoma longifolia (tongkat ali) root extract
  • Saw palmetto extract (fruit)
  • Wild yam root extract
  • Sarsaparilla root extract
  • Nettle root extract
  • Boron amino acid chelate 5%

The other ingredients are a gelatin capsule and rice flour. Tribulus, ginseng and muira puama are absent. Of the four herbs the sales page names, only epimedium is on the label. That matters, because two of the missing herbs are among the better-studied ones in this category (see below). If you are drawn to Alpha Drive by the herbs on the sales page, you would not be getting them according to the label.

The full label is linked in the footer of the official site; we suggest checking it before ordering.

Same seven herbs as AlphaFuel Pro

If this ingredient list looks familiar, it should. It matches the seven herbs we found on AlphaFuel Pro one for one: nettle, tongkat ali, epimedium, saw palmetto, wild yam, boron and sarsaparilla. The two products are sold under different names, on different networks and at different prices. Alpha Drive does give more information than AlphaFuel Pro on one point: it states the blend total (800 mg per serving), so at least some dose math is possible.

The formula next to the research

Because the label gives one total for the whole blend, we cannot know how much of each herb is in a serving. What we can do is compare the blend total with the daily amounts used in human trials.

IngredientAlpha Drive per dayAmount in trialsHow it compares
Tongkat ali root extractNot disclosed (part of 800 mg)100 to 200 mg/day of a standardized water extract [1]Could fit, but extract type and amount unknown
Saw palmetto extractNot disclosed320 to 960 mg/day [8]The standard dose alone would take 40% of the blend
Nettle root extractNot disclosedDose not stated in the trial abstract [10]Cannot compare; studied for urinary symptoms
Epimedium extractNot disclosedNo placebo-controlled trial in men's sexual wellness foundCannot compare
Boron (amino acid chelate)Not disclosed10 mg/day of boron for one week [11]Cannot compare; "5%" likely refers to boron content of the chelate
Wild yam root extractNot disclosedTopical cream in women [12]No relevant trial in men
Sarsaparilla root extractNot disclosedNo human trial foundCannot compare

Here is the arithmetic problem. The best tongkat ali trial used 200 mg a day [1], and the standard saw palmetto dose is 320 mg a day [8]. Those two alone come to 520 mg, leaving 280 mg for the other five ingredients. Every split of 800 mg among seven herbs leaves most of them below the amounts used in studies. A 2023 review of men's sexual wellness supplements sold in Italy reached the same general conclusion about the category: most products blend many substances, often at negligible doses or without evidence [16].

Tongkat ali: the best-supported herb in the blend

Tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia) is a Southeast Asian root. In a 12-week randomized trial of 105 men aged 50 to 70 with low testosterone (below 300 ng/dL), a standardized water extract at 200 mg a day raised total testosterone compared with placebo from week 4 onward, and reduced scores on aging male symptom and fatigue questionnaires. The 100 mg dose raised total testosterone only at week 12. The study was funded by the extract's manufacturer [1]. A 2022 meta-analysis of five randomized trials also found higher total testosterone with the herb, most clearly in men who started low [2].

For sexual function itself the evidence is thinner. A meta-analysis of two placebo-controlled trials with 139 men found no significant overall difference on a five-item erectile function questionnaire at 12 weeks; only men with lower starting scores showed a small gain [3]. So the honest summary is: a modest effect on testosterone in men who start low, at a specific extract and dose, and an uncertain effect on sexual wellness. Alpha Drive names neither its extract type nor its amount.

Saw palmetto: a prostate herb in a drive formula

Saw palmetto is usually sold for urinary comfort, and it is hard to see what it adds to a formula about drive and stamina. In the largest US trial, 369 men aged 45 and older took up to three times the standard dose (up to 960 mg a day) for 72 weeks. It did no better than placebo on urinary symptoms or on any secondary measure, which included sexual function [8]. The 2023 Cochrane review of 27 trials (4,656 men) concluded that saw palmetto alone provides little to no benefit for urinary symptoms [7].

Epimedium (horny goat weed): mostly lab data

Epimedium contains icariin, which in a test-tube study acted on PDE5, an enzyme involved in blood flow regulation. Plain icariin was weak; the strong effect came from a chemically modified version made in the lab [5]. We found no placebo-controlled trial of epimedium alone for men's sexual wellness on PubMed. A published case report describes a fast irregular heartbeat and hypomania in a man taking a horny goat weed product [6].

Nettle root, boron, wild yam and sarsaparilla

Nettle root has been studied for urinary symptoms. In a six-month trial of 620 men with an enlarged prostate, 81% on nettle reported improvement versus 16% on placebo, and testosterone levels did not change in either group [10]. That is a urinary result, and the trial has not been widely replicated. It says nothing about drive or stamina.

The boron research is small. Eight healthy men took 10 mg of boron a day for a week, with no separate placebo group; free testosterone rose and estradiol fell [11]. That is a pilot signal, and we do not know how much boron Alpha Drive provides. Wild yam has been tested mainly as a cream in menopausal women, where it did not change hormone levels compared with placebo [12]. For sarsaparilla we found no human trial on sexual wellness, energy or hormones.

The herbs on the sales page that are not in the bottle

This section explains why the label mismatch costs Alpha Drive points. A meta-analysis of 24 randomized trials of herbal supplements in men with erectile complaints found that ginseng was the single herb with consistent, if modest, support, while tribulus gave mixed results [13]. A Cochrane review of nine ginseng trials (587 men) rated the effect on validated function scores as trivial, but found men on ginseng more likely to report being able to have intercourse [14]. A 12-week trial of a tribulus extract in 180 men aged 18 to 65 found better sexual function scores than placebo, at 1,500 mg a day of a specific standardized product [15].

None of that applies to Alpha Drive as labeled, because neither herb appears on the Supplement Facts panel. Muira puama, also named on the sales page, is not on the label either, and we found no placebo-controlled human trial of it alone.

What the marketing claims vs. what we could verify

  • "Boosts testosterone." Partly supported for tongkat ali at 200 mg a day in men who start low [1] [2]. We cannot tell whether Alpha Drive contains that much.
  • "Science confirmed" that Endurologix Essence improves drive. We found no published study of this blend or of the finished product.
  • "No side effects." No supplement can promise this. Tongkat ali changed how the body absorbed a heart medication in a small study [4], and saw palmetto and epimedium each have published adverse event reports [9] [6].
  • Tribulus, ginseng and muira puama. Named on the sales page, absent from the label.

Price, packages and refund policy

One bottle lasts 30 days. Prices on the official site and on the Digistore24 order forms when we checked:

  • 6 bottles: $29 each ($174 total). About 97 cents a day.
  • 3 bottles: $39 each ($117 total).
  • 1 bottle: $49.

The order forms showed $0.00 shipping before an address was entered; the final amount is the one shown at checkout. No subscription was offered. Those are low prices for this category.

The sales page offers a 60-day money-back guarantee, and the refund page says you return the product within 60 days for a full refund. We have reservations about the policy pages, though. The refund page also answers questions about shipping "cards" for political supporters, and the terms page refers to a different business by name. The addresses differ too: the label lists Largo, Florida; the refund page lists Aurora, Colorado. None of this tells us the refund will not be honored, but it suggests the pages were copied from templates without care. Keep your order confirmation and contact the support email on the site if you need a refund.

Safety

The individual herbs were generally well tolerated in the trials above, but Alpha Drive itself has not been tested, and because doses are hidden, neither you nor your doctor can judge how much of each herb you are taking. Points from the published research worth discussing with your doctor:

  • Heart and blood pressure medicines. In 14 healthy men, 200 mg of tongkat ali taken with propranolol cut the drug's absorption by about 29% [4]. If you take a beta blocker or other heart medicine, ask first.
  • Blood thinners and surgery. A case report describes severe bleeding during surgery in a man taking saw palmetto, with a prolonged bleeding time that returned to normal after he stopped [9]. Tell your surgeon or dentist about any supplement, and ask your doctor if you take a blood thinner or aspirin.
  • Heart rhythm and mood. A case report links a horny goat weed product to a fast irregular heartbeat and hypomania [6]. If you have a heart rhythm problem or a mood disorder, talk to your doctor before using an epimedium product.
  • Hormone-related conditions. Because tongkat ali can raise testosterone [2], men with prostate concerns or on hormone therapy should get medical advice first.

The label itself advises anyone with a known medical condition to consult a physician first. Results vary from person to person. Stop taking it and get medical care if you notice chest pain, palpitations, unusual bleeding or any new or worsening symptom.

What we liked and what gave us pause

Liked

  • Contains tongkat ali, which has trial support in men over 50 with low testosterone
  • The blend total is stated, so the dose math can be checked
  • Low price per bottle and a one-time payment
  • 60-day refund window

Gave us pause

  • Three herbs on the sales page are missing from the label
  • Seven herbs in 800 mg, with no individual doses
  • Saw palmetto and wild yam have no support for the marketed benefit
  • Policy pages with text from other businesses and two different addresses
  • Same seven-herb list as another product sold under a different name

Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy Alpha Drive?

On the official website, with payment processed by Digistore24. We did not find it in stores. Listings on other marketplaces may not be covered by the refund policy.

Does Alpha Drive contain tribulus or ginseng?

Not according to the Supplement Facts label we checked on October 23, 2026. The sales page mentions both, but the label lists epimedium, tongkat ali, saw palmetto, wild yam, sarsaparilla, nettle root and boron.

How long before I notice anything?

Results vary. The tongkat ali trials ran for 12 weeks, so a short trial of a week or two says little. The 60-day refund window is shorter than that 12-week period, which is worth keeping in mind.

Can I take it with my prescriptions?

Ask your doctor or pharmacist first, especially if you take heart or blood pressure medicine, a blood thinner, or hormone therapy. Do not stop or change a prescription on your own.

How we reviewed Alpha Drive

We read the official sales page, the Supplement Facts label linked from it, the refund, shipping and terms pages, and the Digistore24 order forms (without ordering). We then searched PubMed for human trials and reviews of each labeled ingredient, and of the herbs named only on the sales page, and compared the amounts used in those studies with the label. We did not test the product on people, and nobody at Stark Verve is a medical professional. Read our editorial policy to learn how we choose and update reviews. Stark Verve earns a commission if you buy through our links; that never changes what we write about the evidence.
