AlphaFuel Pro review: seven herbs, and a label we could not read
AlphaFuel Pro is a capsule sold to men as a sexual wellness and vitality formula. We looked for the dose of each ingredient, checked the research behind each one, and followed the citations on the sales page. The results were thin.
Our verdict: 1.5 / 5
| Ingredient evidence | 2 | Tongkat ali has modest human data; the other six have little or no human research on sexual wellness |
|---|---|---|
| Dosing vs. research | 1 | No per-ingredient doses; the bottle shows 118 mg per serving, below the tongkat ali trial dose alone |
| Label transparency | 1 | No Supplement Facts panel published on the sales pages we checked |
| Value and refund terms | 2 | $49 to $79 per bottle, two-bottle minimum; 60-day refund with conditions |
Worth considering if you specifically want a tongkat ali product, accept that the amount inside is unknown, and are comfortable using the 60-day return process if it does nothing for you.
Probably skip it if you want to know how much of each ingredient you are swallowing, you take blood thinners or heart medication, or you are hoping for the fast, drug-like change the sales page describes. Nothing we found supports that.
Before anything else: changes in sexual function after 50 are common and often linked to blood vessel health, blood sugar or medication. A conversation with your doctor is the most useful first step, and new or worsening symptoms deserve medical care.

What AlphaFuel Pro is
AlphaFuel Pro is a dietary supplement in capsule form. The site's FAQ gives the serving as two capsules a day, and each bottle holds 60 capsules, so one bottle is a 30-day supply. The retailer of record is BuyGoods, a Delaware company that runs the checkout; the site itself names no manufacturer, only a returns address in Largo, Florida.
The sales presentation is a long story about Roman soldiers and a "hydraulic" system in the body that the formula is said to repair. The bottle artwork reads "Men's Vitality," "supports stamina and endurance" and "helps support sexual health and wellness in men." The video and text pages go much further than the bottle, with promises we will not repeat because they amount to drug claims for a supplement.
The label problem
We could not find a Supplement Facts panel anywhere on the AlphaFuel Pro pages we checked: the video page, the long text page, the home page and the footer pages. The sales text names seven ingredients and says they come in "precise dosages based on clinical research," yet no dose is given for any of them.
The one number we found is on the bottle image: "118 mg per serving." If that figure is the total of the active ingredients, the whole serving weighs less than the 200 mg of tongkat ali used in the best trials of that single herb [5] [6]. We cannot confirm what the 118 mg refers to, and that uncertainty is itself the finding. Without a label, no one can compare this product with the research, so we scored transparency at the bottom of our scale.
The formula next to the research
Because the doses are unknown, this table compares the evidence for each ingredient with what is, or is not, on the label.
| Ingredient | AlphaFuel Pro per day | What the human research used | How it compares |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tongkat ali root | Not disclosed | 100 to 200 mg/day of a standardized water extract [5] [6] | Cannot compare; 118 mg total serving suggests less |
| Epimedium (horny goat weed) | Not disclosed | No placebo-controlled sexual wellness trial found; lab and animal data [8] [9] | Cannot compare |
| Stinging nettle root | Not disclosed | Studied for urinary symptoms in men with an enlarged prostate [11] | Different goal from the one marketed |
| Saw palmetto | Not disclosed | Pooled trials show no effect on sexual function scores [12] | Evidence points the other way |
| Boron | Not disclosed | 10 mg/day for one week in 8 healthy men [14] | Cannot compare; tiny, uncontrolled study |
| Wild yam root | Not disclosed | A cream trial in women found no hormone changes [15] | No relevant trial in men |
| Sarsaparilla root | Not disclosed | No human trial on sexual wellness or circulation found | Cannot compare |
Tongkat ali: the only ingredient with real human data
Tongkat ali (Eurycoma longifolia) is the strongest piece of this formula on paper. In a 12-week randomized trial of 105 men aged 50 to 70 with low testosterone, a standardized water extract at 200 mg a day raised total testosterone compared with placebo and improved scores on an aging male symptom questionnaire; the 100 mg dose had a smaller effect [5]. A 2022 meta-analysis of five randomized trials also found higher total testosterone with the herb, with the clearest effect in men who started low [3].
On sexual function itself the picture is weaker. A meta-analysis of two placebo-controlled trials (139 men) found no significant overall difference on the five-item erectile function score at 12 weeks; only men with lower starting scores showed a small gain [4]. A six-month Brazilian trial of 45 men in their late forties gave 200 mg a day, and the best results came in the group that combined it with three exercise sessions a week [6]. The pattern is a modest, slow effect at 200 mg of a specific extract. AlphaFuel Pro names neither its extract nor its amount.
Epimedium: interesting in the lab, untested in people
Epimedium contains icariin, which inhibits the PDE5 enzyme in a test tube. In that lab study, icariin itself was weak; a chemically modified version made by the researchers was about 80 times more potent [8]. That modified molecule is not what is in a capsule of the herb. A 2026 review of icariin research describes promising effects in animal models and states that clinical efficacy still needs confirmation in high-quality randomized trials [9]. We found no such trial. The drug-like effect the sales page attributes to this herb has no human study behind it that we could locate.
Stinging nettle and saw palmetto: prostate herbs in a vitality formula
Both of these are usually sold for urinary comfort, not sexual wellness. Nettle root has one large Iranian trial in 620 men with an enlarged prostate, where six months of use improved urinary symptom scores and flow compared with placebo; testosterone levels did not change [11]. That is a urinary result, and the testosterone finding cuts against the hormone story on the sales page.
Saw palmetto fares worse for the marketed purpose. A 2026 meta-analysis of six placebo-controlled trials in men with prostate enlargement found no significant effect on sexual function, and the authors rated the certainty of evidence as very low [12]. The sales page says saw palmetto blocks PDE5 and raises nitric oxide; we found no human trial showing either.
Boron, wild yam and sarsaparilla
The boron claim on the sales page (a large rise in free testosterone within a week) traces to a small study: eight healthy men took 10 mg a day for one week, with no separate placebo group, and free testosterone rose while estradiol fell [14]. The exact percentages quoted on the sales page do not appear in the published abstract, and a one-week result in eight men is a weak base for any claim. Wild yam has been studied mostly as a cream in women; a placebo-controlled trial found no change in hormone levels [15]. For sarsaparilla we found no human trial related to sexual wellness or blood vessel health.
A broader review by urologists found that the evidence behind the common ingredients in men's sexual health supplements is generally of low quality [16]. AlphaFuel Pro fits that pattern.
What the marketing claims versus what we could verify
The text sales page ends with a numbered list of "Scientific References." We followed the PubMed ones. Several do not support what they are attached to:
- The link labelled as tongkat ali research opens a 2014 review on how blood inflow and outflow produce an erection [1]. It is a real paper by respected authors, and it is the likely source of the "hydraulics" language, but it does not study tongkat ali or any ingredient in this formula. It recommends nitric oxide support, pelvic floor exercises and prescription therapy.
- The link labelled as epimedium research points to that same review.
- The link labelled "Botanical Extracts and Sexual Function" opens a study of genetically modified mice used to research male contraception [2]. It involves no plant extract.
- On the video page, the first listed reference is a file link on an AI tool's upload server rather than a publication.
We also could not find any published research about Roman soldiers' remains and sexual function, nor a "pressure valve" mechanism that these herbs repair. The page's order buttons call the product "Trimology Weight," a different product name, which suggests a reused template. None of this proves the capsules are ineffective. It does mean the sales page is not a reliable guide to the science.
Price, packages and refund policy
The page our link opens offers three packages, all with two digital guides:
- 6 bottles: $49 each ($294 total), free US shipping. About $1.63 a day.
- 4 bottles: $69 each ($276 total), free US shipping.
- 2 bottles: $79 each ($158 total), plus a shipping fee.
There is no single-bottle option on that page, although the site's home page shows a different set of prices that includes one bottle at $69. Checkout runs through BuyGoods, where the default is a one-time charge; an optional "Subscribe and Save" box adds monthly shipments, so leave it unchecked unless you want them.
The sales page describes a 60-day, no-questions refund that covers even empty bottles. The written return policy is stricter: you must request a return authorization within 60 days of purchase, ship the product back at your own cost within 14 days of receiving that authorization, and it adds that sale items cannot be refunded. Read that page before ordering and keep your order email.

Safety
Because the doses are not published, nobody can judge the safety margin of this product with confidence. What we can say about the individual ingredients:
- Tongkat ali: trials in older men reported no clinically relevant safety changes over 12 weeks [5]. In 2021, however, the European Food Safety Authority concluded that the safety of a standardized tongkat ali extract had not been established, citing lab and animal findings of possible DNA damage [7].
- Epimedium: a published case report describes a rapid heart rhythm and hypomania in a person taking a horny goat weed product [10]. Men with heart rhythm problems should be cautious.
- Saw palmetto: an analysis of FDA adverse event reports found bleeding reports more likely in users aged 75 and over and in those also taking aspirin [13]. That kind of data shows a signal, not proof, but it matters if you take aspirin, warfarin or other blood thinners, or have surgery planned.
- Hormone effects: tongkat ali and boron may shift hormone levels [5] [14]. Men with prostate concerns or on hormone therapy should involve their doctor.
Talk to your doctor before starting AlphaFuel Pro, especially if you take medication for blood pressure, your heart, blood thinning or sexual function. Results vary from person to person, and any new or worsening symptom deserves medical attention rather than a supplement trial.
What we liked and what gave us pause
Liked
- Includes tongkat ali, which has placebo-controlled trials in men over 50
- One-time purchase by default
- 60-day return window
Gave us pause
- No Supplement Facts panel and no dose for any ingredient
- The 118 mg serving on the bottle looks too small to match the trial doses
- Several cited references are unrelated to the claims, one is a mouse study
- Return policy is stricter than the sales page wording
- Two-bottle minimum on the page our link opens
Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy AlphaFuel Pro?
On the official website, with checkout handled by BuyGoods. We did not find it in retail stores. Listings elsewhere may not be covered by the refund policy.
How long before I notice anything?
Results vary. The tongkat ali trials that showed changes ran 12 weeks to six months, so a few days or weeks is too soon to judge any product built on that herb.
Can I take it with prescription medication?
Ask your doctor first. Saw palmetto has bleeding signals with aspirin, and an epimedium case report involved heart rhythm changes. That matters most for men on blood thinners, heart medication or prescription sexual wellness drugs.
Is it a subscription?
Not by default. The BuyGoods checkout shows an optional monthly subscription box; if you leave it unchecked, the order is a single payment.

We read the official video and text sales pages, the home page, the terms, disclaimer and return policy, and the BuyGoods checkout page. We looked for a Supplement Facts label and did not find one. We searched PubMed for human trials of each ingredient, opened every study we cite, and checked the PubMed links on the sales page against what those papers contain. We did not test the product on people, and nobody at Stark Verve is a medical professional. Read our editorial policy to learn how we choose and update reviews. Stark Verve earns a commission if you buy through our links; that never changes what we write about the evidence.
